Midtown’s businesses and entrepreneurs are key to making an economically sustainable community with diverse employment opportunities. Midtown Partners, Inc. works to promote economic development, promote Midtown businesses and to connect businesses with support and technical assistance. Current economic development initiatives include:
- Business Assistance – Through a partnership with the Small Business Development Center at Millsaps College’s Else School of Management, Midtown businesses and entrepreneurs can receive assistance including planning, marketing, management, and financial management.
- Midtown Business Incubator – Midtown Partners is developing a business incubator that will provide 10,000 square feet of rental space that will be paired with business assistance.
